This book includes a brief history about brothers John and Christian Fretz, and a complete genealogical family register, with biographies of their descendants from the earliest available records to the present time. |

A report of the Fretz Family History continued, published in 1975. This book includes supplements to the original 1890 history first printed in 1904, to which was added the Gustav Anjou material covering Fretz ancestry from 1453 to the American migration, and updates of various family lines. |

This book, published in 1988, continues to update the many family lines to present, along with biographies, photos of historical sites and maps, and includes an every name index. |
