The Fretz Family Association is a non-profit organization set up to unite the descendants of "Weaver" John Fretz and "Tinicum" Christian Fretz, brothers who emigrated from Germany to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in the 1720's. The association provides genealogical assistance, hosts an annual family reunion, prints a quarterly newsletter, publishes the Fretz family history in several volumes, and seeks to relate to other Fretzes in North America and in other parts of the world. We seek to promote the heritage of the Fretz and kindred families, formed by their religious faith and family traditions. The association has been holding reunions since 1888. One of the longest records for family reunions in the US. |
