The Fretz Family Association is an organization dedicated to promote the heritage of the Fretz families. The Fretz Family Association seeks to unite the descendants of "Weaver" John Fretz and "Tinicum" Christian Fretz, brothers who emigrated from Germany to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in the 1720's. There are over 18,000 descendents of “Weaver” John and over 8,000 descendents of “Tinicum” Christian Fretz. The Association provides: · Genealogical assistance. · Hosts an annual Fretz Family Reunion. · Prints a Quarterly Fretz Newsletter. · Publishes the Fretz Family history in 4 volumes.
